It’s a lovely accommodation outside sapa where you can actually see and live the local life in the rice fields. And if you wanna go to sapa you can just book a scooter or taxi and go there. They also offer a guide for hiking, it’s a really nice local woman who’s also good in English and explains you a lot about the region while hiking. We can recommend doing a hike from sapa to the accommodation when you arrive (they pick up your luggage) and also the ‘option 1’ hike.

The hostesses were sweet. The room were clean, comfy with amazing views. They even got a nice selection of books there.Their breakfast French toast was surprisingly delicious. Oh and the plum wine :") the feeling of having some plum wine on the balcony, watching the mountains, the clouds passing by or some twinkling stars, just can't be described with words

For us D Home was absolutely the best place to stay in Sapa. Walking past so many other homestays and Hotels I The location is perfect, it's so close to the city center and it's not very steep. And we had the BEST views from our balcony. The mountains including Fansipan were right in front of us. The room is really nice. It's big and comfortable and clean. We had a few cold days in Sapa but the AC/heater did a good job. We really appreciated the self check in. We arrived in the middle of the night but the owner made sure that we got in easily. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge, a shared washing machine and even a dryer. After checkout we could store our luggage there safely. I liked that there is no daily cleaning service and that they have a cabinet where you can take fresh towels and toilet paper. Probably there are probably some nice Hotels as well, but they can't possibly offer this amount of privacy or comfort.
