The apartment is hidden in the middle of buildings so it is really quiet, you cannot hear the traffic or any outside noise. The location is very convenient to the old quarter. The owner is very kind and helpful. They also let us leave our bags in the lobby for a few hours after we checked out

We stayed at Moon Cactus twice during our trip to Vietnam. The hostess Miss Moon went over and above our expectations and was so friendly, helpful and flexible. I’ve never had a host so amazing in my travels. Communication was very easy and are stay was effortless. We were offered assistance with our bags as there isn’t a lift but for us that wasn’t an issue as only had backpacks and needed to get our daily steps in. The location was great close to the centre but just off the side street which meant it was very quiet. Thank you for everything!!!

I 100% recommend it! From the moment we arrived, they treated us like family, everyone was so kind and always went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It’s a bit far from the Old Quarter, but that’s actually nice for some quiet. Besides, it’s only about 15 minutes or less by Grab. There’s also a shopping mall nearby. I’d definitely choose to stay here again!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The location is about a 15-minute motorbike ride from the center. The host was amazing — super helpful and always made sure I felt at home. She also recommended some great local spots in Hanoi. The Japanese-style bathroom was a nice touch, and there’s even a free washing machine on the rooftop. Besides nice balcony :) Totally recommend!
