We arrived early at the property after a long night bus from Sapa, and Gem let us check in early at 11am once the room was ready, which was much appreciated. The room is completely new and very nice. Could not fault it in any way. The TV allowed for some down time from our travels, and the bed was comfy. It was also quiet at night which was great. The bathroom had all facilities and was really nice. Really good value for money and I will be recommending this stay to any friends.

Everything feels fresh and new, from the modern design to the clean, roomy space in the bedroom. The team at reception were kind and attentive, always with a smile, which made a big difference to my experience. The breakfast buffet was generous with both Western and Vietnamese options, all delicious. I joined one of the Lan Ha Bay excursions and it turned out to be a highlight — the scenery was breathtaking and the trip ran very smoothly.

We stayed in this room for 4 nights and it was amazing! The room was super clean and the bed was so comfortable… We are quite tall, but the bed was big enough, amazing! Special thanks to the homestay owner, he helped us with everything in Cat Ba, booking tours, renting a scooter and advising some good spots. We did not have to arrange anything ourselves.. He was super interested in our experiences and sweet. We would definitely recommend this cute home stay. Also the location is not in the middle of the city centre, which is nice for a bit of peace. Thanks Hieu!

Phuong was an exceptional hostess who took care of all our activity and travel needs with loads of friendliness. Breakfast was a treat every time. We loved the quietness and tranquility of the location. Close to town but away from the hustle and bustle. It was very helpful being able to communicate in English with Phuong. Most highly recommended!!!

The family running the hostel were super lovely and helped us out with everything we needed. The guy who runs the place doesn’t speak English but was super sweet and communicated very well using Google translate. Overall loved my stay there the facilities were great and nice and clean
