We had five wonderful nights at Matumani guest house. And we did not want to leave. Such a beautiful house, with a wonderful garden and breathtaking view. In a quiet area away from noisy tourist areas. And most of all Margret took so good care of us. We were served lovely homemade food, and she spoilt the kids with little homemade treats. Margaret organised and helped us with anything we asked for with a smile. We had the barbecue on the beach on our last evening, and it was amazing. The octopus was the best we ever had, and it was such a wonderful experience. We did a snorkelling trip and a sunset cruise organised by Margaret on a beautiful dhowe, both being lovely trips. We will recommend everyone to stay at Matumani. We hope to be back one day.

The Villa is stylish and clean. There are two small pools on the territory which makes it perfect to cool downs when the tides in the ocean are high. The personal is very attentive and well trained. The food in the restraint is delicious!

The staff is really really kind and always with a smile on their face! The breakfast is really good and the dinner we have every night is even better! Everything to try but the fish is really really good and the chef is really really good! The room was really clean, with perfect functioning air conditioning and fan! Nothing to say about Ondo House, we had a really good stay! In 1 minute by foot you are at the beach (that have the best sea of the island, really beautiful beach) and in 5 minute you are in the centre of Nungwi village! REALLY RECOMMENDED!

Crazy man is such a generous person. Throughout our stay, we felt like his goal was not to make money out of us, but simply to make sure we had the best possible experience in Nungwi. For instance, he offers very cheap snorkeling tours, free laundry services, cheap drinks (cheapest we've had in Tanzania), etc. He also cooked for some of the guests. The breakfast was awesome! I know that many comments mention that the hostel is far from the beach, but we actually appreciated this. If you stay close to the beach, you only see tourist resorts. Walking 20 minutes to the beach every day allowed us to experience a more local side to Nungwi too. Overall, this was one of our best accommodations in Tanzania! Thank you Crazy man!
