If you want to be in the old medina this place is perfect. It is also safe, I wandered around day & night by myself down these little alleys and never felt threatened - you will just meet families and people going about their lives who often say hello with a smile. The owner is super helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to monastir. If you want busyness and things to entertain you in your accommodation this isn’t but if you appreciate peace and having space to yourself it’s perfect.

Beautiful property, even nicer than the photos. The house has an underground level which connects to an original catacomb of the ancient city, which was unexpected and really quite cool to see. Breakfast was also great

It was such an amazing stay at Dar Baaziz. Location is perfect, situated within the medina in a quiet zone and close to everything. Adding to this, the decoration of the rooms and patio and, specially, how welcome the people are made this place feel like home :)

This is an extraordinary little gem in the middle of the Medina in Sousse. Beautifully restored house with incredible focus on details. The rooms are stunning with wonderful bathrooms. Khaled is super easy to communicate with and Mouna makes you feel at home instantly and prepares a great breakfast.

Everything about Dar Hkaïm is absolutely perfect. Toutou went out of his way to help and there was always someone cleaning, caring or just greeting and ask how I am doing. The extra effort was never to much for him and I will definitely recommend Dar Hkaïm without any doubt. The room is very beautiful with its own Tunisian traditional touch created by Toutou. I like the possibilities of preparing your own meal in the kitchen and the lovely blue yard where you can mediate or have a cup of coffee between the Blue coloured walls. It gives you such a positive energy with a lot of peace.

This guest house has only 3 rooms and can acomodate only up to 6 people, which is giving a very inviting, personal feeling to your stay. The nice house keeper is doing a wonderful job making you feel at home. Her warm smile every morning serving the excellent breakfast with hand squeezed orange juice is making the day. The owner Andrea is a vey kind and welcoming person. He provided a good athmosphere and offered advice where to eat out.
