Really nice and cozy bungalow in the middle of a lovely decorated garden. There are scooters you can rent directly from there. Really easy! Mai, the host, is the best!!! If you are traveling with a baby or if you would like to explore the various flavors of thai breakfast, you should definitely take a couple of days to stay with Amina, Manu and baby Maya. They are a Thai/French family with a relaxed attitude and a big heart. They speak very good English and French and helped us understand a lot about life in Thailand. They helped us arrange all sort of activities and had good recommendations that made our stay on the island very special. My wife, our baby (10 months) and me stayed a week with them and even considered changing our travel plans in order to stay even longer.

Staying here is a unique experience. The accommodation is set in lush vegetation, surrounded by noises of frogs, birds, crickets. Hornbills swoop around the trees. You are 2 minutes walk from a beach where you can see the sunrise. It is magical. The hosts are lovely, friendly people. We were given sticky rice and mango parcels the first morning which were delicious. Thank you We ate at the Sea Gypsy two nights, the food was great. The whole island is beautiful. Don’t hesitate to stay here, you will remember it for ever.

Magical location, away from tourists, hotel staff was very helpful and helped us with renting bikes (directly from the hotel) plus hotel staff helped us organise a day trip to various islands. Hotel is near a very nice beach plus there is probably the coolest travel bar within 2-3min from it. Totally recommend!

Perfect!! It felt like we were at home Definitely recommend Cheap, has everything you need, specious Hot shower, good mattress, kettle, dishes, refrigerator, dining table, AC. The only thing I would say was missing is a microwave. The location is obviously not at the beach but it’s closed to many grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, fresh market. You can rent a scooter from the owner for a good price 10 minutes away from the beach 3 minutes away from the pier.
