We had an amazing 3-night stay at See Breeze House on Koh Yao Yai! From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and heartfelt. The rooms were extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and housekeeping was done perfectly every single day. One of our rooms had an incredible sea view, and the other was equally comfortable and well-kept. The owner/manager was wonderfully kind and attentive, and the chef prepared the best Pad Thai, fried rice, and mango sticky rice we have ever eaten — truly the best meals our group had on the island! They also offer a convenient laundry service. The restaurant is simple but has a beautiful sea view, and the garden area with chairs is perfect for relaxing in nature while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding islands. There is also a parking area for rented motorbikes, which was very helpful. We truly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, genuine experience where you can feel the kindness and hospitality of the island community. Nice, calm and well-maintained place. We enjoyed our stay there. Double rooms are still brand new, so everything looks good and is functional. The room is well designed, it had everything we needed. It was clean. Comfortable beds. Great water pressure in the shower. Beach blankets available. FYI bungalows stand separate but have a terrace facing common area and no "kitchen" (= outside sink). Double rooms are newer and have an amazing terrace facing garden, but you have neighbours and it could be annoying if they are too loud (we were lucky).

I loved everything about Bankunyaiy, it's peaceful & relaxed. The chalet I had was super comfortable, clean and tasteful. There are also some cheaper fan rooms, the photos don't do them justice really, they looked comfortable enough too. It's a small family run homestay, its lovely location is set among trees so the accomodations stay shaded. It's just a few minutes walk to the village with its shop and small night market and there are also a few restaurants the other way. The absolute icing on the cake is the warm friendliness of these wonderful people. They made me feel very welcome and took care of all my needs without any fuss. Fantastic, thank you.

If you are traveling with a baby or if you would like to explore the various flavors of thai breakfast, you should definitely take a couple of days to stay with Amina, Manu and baby Maya. They are a Thai/French family with a relaxed attitude and a big heart. They speak very good English and French and helped us understand a lot about life in Thailand. They helped us arrange all sort of activities and had good recommendations that made our stay on the island very special. My wife, our baby (10 months) and me stayed a week with them and even considered changing our travel plans in order to stay even longer.
