Mr. Jaru, his wife, his son and the rest of the staff were exceptional. Check in was quick and smooth, we were given great recommendations on places to go and how to get there, they even gave us an estimate of pricing so we wouldn't get scammed. You get free breakfast with your stay and it was the best breakfast we had and so filling. The B&B is also in the best location! Bars, restaurants, the night market, everything is within a 5 minute walk. My husband and I got into a motorcycle accident on our second day and Mr. Jaru's wife drove us to the hospital and his son picked us up. They were so kind and even tended to my wounds. We will forever be grateful to them. If you are going to visit Chiang Rai, you have to stay here!

Lots of positive affirmations dotted around the house, in the dining room and outside. An overall 'feel good' ambience prevailed. The rooms are spacious with nice individual balconies, but connected to other guests. The breakfast was healthy with good choices. Walkable to places but need google maps to ensure you find your way! The family are very friendly and approachable. Thankyou!

We had an amazing experience staying at Alex and his family's home for 3-4 weeks. The room was nice and clean, and there was a lot of space outside to relax. We worked remotely, so we often borrowed bikes and went to nice coffee shops in the surrounding area. The area was quiet and safe, close to nature with many caves, temples, and interesting places to explore. The downtown is nearby, about 10-15min by bike. Alex and his family were great hosts - very responsive, flexible, and kind. It was always fun to hang out and chat with Alex who was really knowledgeable about Chiang Rai and many aspects of Thai culture and history. We appreciated the fantastic daily breakfasts and laundry service. Overall, we felt super at home at Alex's and would for sure visit again in the future.

AMAZING! :) If you go to Chiang Rai you must stay in Homey Dormy. Our room was very big and nice, (2 AC). Also room was clean which is important. The breakfast is excellent, "resort" nicely decorated. I would like to praise the kindness of the owner. You can borrow a bike (ask for a lock at the reception), as well as the pump if the tire is empty. The next very good experience is that they called B-RIDER (rent a scooter) at the reception, and they brought the scooter in 20 minutes. In the evening until 18:00 they also come to the hotel to take it back. We drove all day for 500BTH, we probably could have gotten cheaper, but for all the comfort and good experience, it wouldn't be worth looking around the city for other options :) So I can only warmly recommend this accommodation!
