I liked everything. Lovely location and view, friendly staff, good breakfast (which I received without expecting it). I slept well and the rooms had everything I needed (plus they were nice and clean). I stayed in the villa 2x over a two week period. I slept in two different rooms and both were lovely. I enjoyed the option of going to the sauna but I did not have the time to try it out. Hopefully next time I can :).

Superb location steps away from the train station to access most trailheads. The kitchen included all the basic amenities - salt, sugar, oil, even honey! This is often overlooked by property owners but it's such an important detail. Very quiet surroundings. Great value for money. Free parking! Klaudia, the owner, was very forthcoming and accomodating. I doubt I'll ever look for a different place when traveling to Vysoké Tatry again.

Surrounded by the High Tatras and situated in the Stary Smokovec, Penzión Šport offers accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property and a private parking possible on site.

This small hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and the trailheads. The crew is friendly and attentive, with a great level a of flexibility. Excellent breakfast.

A family-like atmosphere, comfortable and clean. A real plus is the access to a well equipped kitchen and the garden with a great view. The hosts are very attentive and helpful; liked that everyone respected the quiet hours. The accomodation is very close to the train station from where. you can take the electric train that will take you to all the sights and hiking trails in the High Tatras. We really enjoyed our stay.

Located in Dolný Smokovec, Penzión Chata Valaška is a family-run pension and a good starting point for hiking in the High Tatras.

We loved to stay here, got everything we needed and more. They speak speak English so no problem with communication. Stuff super friendly ( Radoslav I think 🤔) and always happy to help and recommend places to visit or eat out. We had amazing view at mountains from the room. Everything was very clean and always smell fresh. We would like to highly recommend this Penzión and we will be happy to come back😊

Brilliant location- walking distance from the train to take you up the mountain. Spectacular view south towards the plain. Massive palatial room with a bath very welcome after 2 days of serious hiking. Sumptuous breakfast with everything you can imagine. And private parking right outside the door. Very helpful hosts and 2 restaurants right opposite - one slovak and one italian.

Pension Raimund is situated on the edge of the High Tatras, 2 km from the well-known tourist and recreational centre Starý Smokovec.
