Even better than in the pictures. And the pictures are already picturesque. Karim was a fantastic host who took the time to explain bits of his family history and stories of artefacts he found when he was diving. Breakfast served in the "room" (actually house) was also delicious, accompanied by fresh wild asparagus, home-produced olives and olive oil and herbs from the garden. And the cherry on top - you have to taste his orange wine!

It's 300 years old, so it was built during the Hapsburg era. It is well appointed. It feels like it could have been the house of a noble woman. 😜 they have a nice restaurant with tasty food from a good chef, great wine. You can't go wrong. Up the hill behind it are hills of grapevines, looking north to Trieste. Just around the corner is Punta Grossa natural park.

The guest house is in a very small village, Very quiet place. We liked the host family-Very warm people, helping with everything, The rooms were clean and comfortable. The best thing is the restaurant under the rooms-the food is very very good and uniqe We had 2 great diners -everything was tasty! The stuff was great !! Lovely staying here. The room was bigger and nicer than expected. Fabulous restaurant- the owner was attentive and knowledgeable. Great place, lovely wine. Very close to key tourist areas. Wish we’d stayed longer!
