Highly recommend, I will definitely return! The owner and her two assistants made me feel very welcome and very safe, they are lovely! High standard apartments, nicely decorated, very clean, all necessary kitchen supply in good condition. Small extras as sugar, tea and welcome fruits. Nicely kept garden with many flowers, has several seating arrangements, nicely lightened up in the evening. Small private beach, but also short walk to Anse Kerlan and Anse Georgette (for the latter, you need to register the evening before). About 5-10 min walk to 3 supermarkets, one clothing store, one takeaway, one hotel restaurant. Further restaurants and takeaways if you walk further down the main street. It is a nice district and neighborhood at Praslin, many nicely build houses in a calm and well kept area. THANK YOU. Love, Jennifer.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and was welcomed with open arms by Bikesh, Peter, and the entire team. The breakfast and dinner were delightful. Our room's perfect view of the sunrise was a memorable highlight, and the pool provided a refreshing and relaxing way to end our day. Overall, it was a remarkable stay.

edith & ritha were brilliant, friendly, available and super nice. Edith helped us to get anything we wanted, car, transfert, tips on food places the place is simple but very cosy. we had an apartment with shared kitchen and it was a nice way to meet different people and have some chat with them also very close to the anse volbert (2 min walk)

We really enjoyed our stay here. Furthermore, a big thank you to the host. We forgot Usd 3500, our Passports in room's locker and realized after reaching Ferry jetty. It was a stressful situation due to the distance to hotel and the time left for Ferry's departure. We called the host and she arranged to find someone to have them delivered safely to us on time. We can never forget this experience. Definitely recommend La Modestie Guest House.

My favourite part of the day was the walk through the garden, through the pickett gate and onto one of the most glorious beaches I have ever seen. The fact that myself and my wife could then enjoy the beach without a sole was ever more special as there is very little accommodation near the beach and it doesn't start to get busy till 10.30.The snorkelling by the rocks left and right is just wonderful. Literally hundreds of fish and so many varieties it was impossible to count. Chantel is a wonderful host and her son Henri cooked a wonderful meal one night for just the 2 of us on their verandah.

Everything was amazing, Connie is a great host. If you reading this before your final trip plans for Seychelles my honest advice is to stay here as longer as you can and enjoy in Praslin because everything is better on this island.

La Modestie Guest House is a modest yet charming and tranquil place to stay. The bed and room were spacious, and the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very helpful. Conveniently located just a 5-8 minute walk from the bus stop, the guest house is easily accessible by bus, even when traveling with an 18-month-old. There's no need to take a taxi from the ferry port unless you arrive after 6 pm, as the buses stop running around that time.
