This place was an absolute gem! Convenient parking, fresh countryside air, total peace and quiet — just what we needed after a long day on the road. It has a proper rural vibe, everything felt relaxed and homely. The room was very comfortable, and I slept incredibly well — probably the best night’s sleep of the whole trip. To my surprise, the bathroom even had a bidet — a small detail, but a very welcome one! Breakfast was delicious and full of local flavours, clearly made with fresh farm ingredients. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming — genuinely one of the kindest people we met on our journey. The house and the garden are both lovely — well cared for, with plenty of space to walk around and even say hello to some of the resident animals. It’s all fenced off and feels very safe. We first arrived very late at night, but the host still greeted us with a smile, helped us settle in, and even offered a cold beer and a bottle of water when he saw how tired we were. A small gesture, but it meant a lot. In fact, I enjoyed the stay so much that I changed my return route just to stop here again. If you’re travelling through the area — don’t think twice. Highly recommended.

Location is a 8 km or 10 min drive to Satu Mare. It was nice to stay in a small village. Quiet! Just a rooster in the morning! The hosts were very, very welcoming. We were offered shots of palinka when we arrived and happily accepted!! They gave us clear instructions about the keys, internet, etc. They gave us a lesson on the making of palinka which we very much appreciated. They also pointed us to a pizza restaurant which was delicious. Our stay was perfect!

We loved the location, beautiful views from the terrace. We travelled with a dog and felt comfortable and he had a beautiful orchard and meadow to explore. The daughter was very helpful and even drove with us to show us where we could find an atm. Great value for money. There is a shared kitchen were we had breakfast as a family.

Unreal experience like staying with family! This was hands down the most heartfelt and tailored stay I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, Chris and his wonderful family made me feel so welcome as if I was one of their own. As a woman traveling alone with my son, I felt completely safe and cared for. The owners went above and beyond every morning, I was offered a delicious traditional Romanian breakfast, and when I couldn’t order food (because the apps required a Romanian social number and my UK phone didn’t work), they even offered to bring me dinner. Like… who does that?! 🥹 They always made sure we had clean water in the mini hot tub (I forgot what they call it in Romanian, but you know the one!), and the entire place was always spotless, and every single member of staff was genuinely lovely it felt like we were part of one big family, in the best way possible. The space is beautifully designed, full of thoughtful touches, and it honestly felt unreal how well we were treated. Huge thank you to Chris and the whole family I’ll definitely be back. ❤️
