This accommodation was very nice and stylish. We had a comfortable bed and a small terrace (balcony) on the ground floor. It was very quiet there, no noise from the street. This small newly built hotel is administered by Monica, a very friendly woman who helped us a lot with information about Transfagarasan and recommended a nice place to eat as well as places to see in the city. Her English was very good.

From the moment we arrived at Pension Ruxy, we felt truly welcome. Mr. Spiros, our wonderful host, greeted us warmly and even recommended a fantastic nearby restaurant, La Conac, just 400 meters away — excellent food, great service, and calm music, perfect for a relaxing evening. Our room was cozy and very quiet, spotles cleean, the spacious bathroom, a new air conditioner (which we didn’t even need to use — the night was pleasantly cool). We simply opened the window, which has a mosquito net, and enjoyed a wonderful night’s sleep on a comfortable bed with lovely soft pillows. The free parking inside the property or next to property is available. In the morning, we woke up and Mr. Spiros had already made us coffee, waiting on a little cozy veranda decorated with beautiful local pottery. If we ever come back to this town, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
