Extremely comfortable with good heating and aircon. Much bigger than expected. Bed very comfortable.Good cooking facilities. Typical well-appointed clean en-suite hotel room. There is no elevator but our room was right off the first landing. The location is perfect. It is central to everything surrounded by your choice of restaurants and your choice of grocery stores. We were not disturbed by any noises at night. Above all, EXCELLENT customer service from their staff. The wonderful receptionist on our check in date went above and beyond by locating and arranging last minute taxi pick up when we were stranded in the middle of no where during a national holiday and train strike. She was an angel!

A beautifully restored and historic train station. An authentic, time capsule experience. The trains leave from your window. The staff were communicative in advance via WhatsApp. All super clear and keyless entry. Brilliant. The croissants at breakfast were delicious! Dinner recommendation 200m close-by: The "Curry Indian House" was one of the best kitchens I've had the pleasure to taste. Ganesh the owner has put together a phenomenal open kitchen. Art deco glass in the back. Out of the front door of Thomar House, and 200m to the right. 100% recommended Thomar House for the more discerning guests. 😎👌🏼

We enjoyed our stay very much! Apartment very clean and cozy, everythjng is done with love inside this historical house. Host is great, very caring and attentive, ready to help with any question at any minute and support with local recomendations. Breakfast on terrace was very nice, and was served at time we ask, coffee is excellent! We liked everything :)
