Great location. We had the room with an external bathroom just across from the bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was modern and had a good sized shower. The room was up a few flights of stairs which wasn't a problem for us. There's also a roof terrace with town views. All in all, a nice place to stay in beautiful Tavira.

The guesthouse is about 150m from Tavira’s main square, and looks over the river to the restaurants and buildings on the South side. It’s on a quiet street not far from the bus station, an added bonus if you are not travelling by car. We were met by the friendly Carla on arrival, who showed us the facilities and to our room. The rooms are themed, and outside each door in the hallway is a small sheet of information about a different aspect of Tavira’s history. There is a lot of character and effort that has gone into making the guesthouse welcoming. The air conditioning worked very well, although we didn’t need it.

Perfect location for the quieter stage of our holiday. We loved the ability to walk everywhere and to learn about the salt industry and the previous grain mill at the hotel site. The roof top terrace provided a nice place to chat with other guests. Very convenient to the train station. We had a couple of easy day trips and a boat excursion.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, secure parking for motorbikes and easy to find. Really friendly staff and great breakfast. Lovely serene pool area with comfortable sunbeds. Our terrace had a hammock which was great, just wish we were there for longer, would definitely stay again.
