Cosy, clean and peaceful place. Complimentary coffee was good. Loved the small balcony with panorama. Parking easy with street in front. Easy check-in and out procedure. Location convenient to start next day travel in Sintra.

Everything was beyond our expectations. The room was wonderful and really comfortable, clean and perfect for a couple. The staff was wonderful and treated us just right. The thing that made us really happy was the breakfast system where you can choose, before the breakfast with 1 day, what you would like to eat and the quantities so they would avoid the food waste!! Wonderful idea and really sustainable. We would probably come back to this hotel as we had a really nice time in Sintra.

How can you summarise the perfect stay?! From the moment we arrived at Ricardo’s beautiful home we felt completely relaxed. Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome, he clearly loves hosting guests and this shows in each of the lovely little touches he added to our stay, it was beyond hotel quality. The house itself is its own special paradise, with a beautiful pool area and well maintained gardens surrounding. The delicious breakfast provided each day even included fruit and vegetables from his organic garden. Our advice would be to cut your time in Lisbon in half and instead stay twice as long at Ricardo’s and see more of Sintra - you won’t regret it. We look forward to coming back here.

Villa Estefânia is an elegant centenary house that was fully renovated, while still maintaining many of its original features.

What a beautiful house ! Francisco is a super host. Really enjoyed our stay there and yes the breakfast was second to none!

Casa da Estefânea is situated in Sintra, a 13-minute walk from Sintra National Palace. The guesthouse is within a traditional Portuguese building with a Romantic-style architecture.

Everything about Eighteen21 House is simply amazing. The photos give a small glimpse of what the house looks like, but the entire property of Quinta Velha is very beautiful and scenic. The house is located nicely in the mountains and has a warm rustic vibe to it. The host Armie (and her small team) make you feel at home from the moment you drive in. We had a wonderful experience staying here and would love to go back and stay longer. Breakfast is recommended here! And if you’re up for it, Armie is also a wonderful chef so don’t forget to ask for her dinner menu ❤️

Sintra Marmoris Palace is a 19th-century manor house, which was completely refurbished in 2017, at just a 7-minute walk from the historical centre of Sintra.

We especially loved the homely friendly atmosphere and helpfulness of the staff. The location was brilliant - right at the top of the Old Town and handy to so many things. The breakfast had good variety and plenty of fruit choices. There was also tea and cake available free of charge at any time and a self serve honesty fridge. There were comfy areas to sit at any time. The bedroom was spacious with a little balcony to sit out on. The shower was excellent. Sintra is a wonderful place to visit for a few days - lots to see. I especially recommend the Quinta da Regaleira which is easy walking distance from the guest house.
