The property was very beautiful. Featuring a beatiful garden, small but manicured lawns and a small vineyard. If you want the quinta feeling in Madeira, quinta das malvas is definitely a must. Margarida has always great tips about restaurants, bargains and places to see. She is also very friendly and accommodating.

Solar da Bica is a cosy and tranquil retreat. This comfortable guest house faces the mountains and has green natural surroundings. The Solar features accommodation in rooms and an apartment.

Everyone at the hotel were lovely. We got a nice Swimming pool, we're near some levadas, there is the view, the breakfast and the Spa was a great point too.

I was really impressed by this hotel. The staff was extremely polite, helping and willing to support us. Cleaning was more than perfect, cleaning lady was able to clean the room despite all kid's belonging on the floor ;-). We had a sea view and balcony, location is perfect.

Everything! The host was nice and friendly, gave us a lot of information and advice on local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, good WiFi. The village is very beautiful and tranquil. There is a large paved/unpaved parking nearby. A lot of restaurants, a supermarket and a bus stop are nearby.
