We looooved this little family run, boutique hotel nestled above São Vincente. It is a lovely little oasis geared towards relaxation. The staff all very helpful & so kind. We enjoyed a wonderful & much needed massage (we had done the Pico to Pico hike prior to our stay), the pool, the gardens--from which we enjoyed much of the produce at our breakfasts which were fantastic with delicious veg and fruits, homemade jams and yogurt. We stayed 4 nights & from here easily traveled to Santana, Ponta do Sol, Levada walks, the incredible scenic drive from São Vincente to Seixal to Porto Moniz, the Laurisilva Forest (Fanal Forest) and much more! We definitely will definitely stay here again when revisiting Madeira

It's a nice apartment on the lower part of Prazeres. You will have a view on the sea and on some parts of the mountains. Lucky, there's a parking lot right next to the house and you only need 8 minute by foot to the next supermarket and pizza restaurant. The owner is very friendly and I was greeted with a clean apartment. There's a kitchen but it's only missing an oven. On the other hand, there are 2 big bedrooms, each with an own bathroom (shower and bathtubs). From there you reach Funchal within 45 minutes by car and the streets are in good condition. I made some hikes in the area and if you're not with a car, taxi (Bolt) there is no problem. Be careful about bus stops as I had trouble to find them. Overall I enjoyed the stay and would recommend it to everyone who likes to have a quiet environment and a more rural experience. For a more organised daily life, a clothes rack at the entrance would be nice so I don't need to put my jacket away in the bedroom.

Basically every aspect of the accommodation is thoroughly refined. The host, Sérgio, meets you personally, gives some useful tips and how-to's on Madeira. We were welcomed with the local surprising iteration of banana. Sérgio speaks very good English and seems highly motivated to help his guests. Moreover, there are a lot of utilities in the apartment, which make life much more enjoyable. I never tried sticks for walking, but, as Sérgio gave the opportunity, I was shocked how easier the hikes are. The apartment feels absolutely new, the kitchen has all you could wish for, the bathroom is gigantic. 10/10

Everything! The host was nice and friendly, gave us a lot of information and advice on local attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, good WiFi. The village is very beautiful and tranquil. There is a large paved/unpaved parking nearby. A lot of restaurants, a supermarket and a bus stop are nearby.
