Wonderful to smell fresh farm air. Amazingly quiet and peaceful

I really enjoyed my stay! Nuno had everything ready for us, and he accommodated all of our needs. Our arrival time, the baby cot, which was bigger than ours. There is air conditioning,and a clean bathroom with a shower. A private kitchen! It´s basically your own little apartment. The wifi was working perfectly. There were pots and pans and other cutlery to help make our stay more at home. We cooked, so it helped save costs during our visit. After a very polite conversation over the phone, he was kind enough to allow us to stay longer if we needed. Unfortuntely I didn´t make use of the swimming pool because we had a short stay, but the pool and garden looked very clean and it was lovely waking up to that view in the morning. The area is quiet so you can get a good night´s rest. I also think the bed and linen were comfy and clean. Excellent and great value for the price! Hopefully, we can come back!

The old world eclectic charm of the building and facilities. Rooms and bathroom are wonderfully presented. A real credit to the owners / managers / staff. Pricing was good for such a wonderful place.

Everything was fabulous, loved everything about A Burguesa. Comfortable large room, pet friendly, great breakfast. Outside terrace and swimming pool.

We wanted a quiet farm location and it didn't disappoint. Lovely hosts and a pool with a country view.

Sefardita is an amazing apartment: it takes the whole small house in the old town of Castelo de Vide. It’s an old house that was recently renewed and perfectly mixes modern amenities and design with old elements. The house consists of several levels. On the lower level there’s a living room functionally separated into an area to rest with a sofa and TV and to eat with a dining table. From the living room there’s an entrance to the fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge, a microwave oven, a cooker (only an oven is missing), a wash machine, a toaster, an electric kettle and an Nespresso coffee machine. All necessary dishes and cutlery are also provided. Another entrance from the leaving room leads to the bathroom with a walk in shower. Both the lower and upper levels have separate air conditioners and there’s an additional heater in the bathroom. The living room has a mezzanine with a small double bed. However, as it has little privacy it’s the best option for e.g. children travelling with parents. On the upper level there’s a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and several wardrobes. As we travelled with an infant we asked for a baby crib and it was already placed in the bedroom when we arrived. Both the lower and upper level have direct access to streets, so it makes it easier to bring the luggage etc. We found the location of Sefardita -to be perfect for sightseeing. It’s located next to the castle of Castelo de Vide. Other main the tourist spots are within short walking distance. Few minutes walking downhill there is the main city square with various restaurants, bars and shops. The city of Castelo de Vide is a lovely town worth of exploring and a good starting point for trips to nearby places. Prior to the arrival we received by e-mail details concerning the arrival and upon arrival Mrs. Luisa was waiting for us, provided useful information and later was there available to help. To summarize: we really enjoyed staying in Sefardita & hope to come back.
