Everything worked. It was easy to find it and had secure parking. The host followed up and made sure that everything was fine with us. Gave us much môre than wat we expected. Very good advice on where to eat and wat to do. There are small extra finishings in the room that made us feel very special. Best coffee.

The apartment is huge and fantastically furnished. The rooms are equipped with historical furniture, as is the salon. The bathrooms are stylish and the kitchen is very nicely furnished. You feel like you're in another time. Very suitable for families or larger groups. Centrally located, very good restaurants are nearby.

Margarida has been a wonderful host. The spot is really peaceful with a beautiful view and nice sunsets. Breakfasts were also excellent. We booked a room (not a bungalow) - perfect for a couple getaway. Say hi to Amarillo the cat for me!

This stone house is in a dream-like setting in the middle of a vineyard. A perfect weekend getaway to do some wine tasting. They make their own fabulous wines and also provided a welcome drink of their licor generoso (it was delicious!) A great base to explore nearby vineyards. Lovely host and was very communicative and helpful. If you're in the Douro, you must stay here if you want a truly authentic experience!

This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Lovely little hotel , quaint and charming , situated just 2 minutes walk from the Douro river and 15 minutes walk from the town centre . Good breakfast with delicious made-to-order scramlbed eggs by the charming and cheerful hostess Ana . Had a lovely relaxing swim in the pool on a hot afternoon .
