We were greeted by the owner as we stepped in the door who then showed us our room and pointed out where we could find extra pillows and blankets. The home made cookies on the tea table were delicious! Parking is only a short walk away. Centrally located and easy to find.

Quinta da Cancela is an amazing place. First of all, the location is beautiful, with vinyards all around, a big lush garden, and a small pool. Then, our room was charming snd cos, And finally, Arthur, our host, was so welcoming and generous with advice regarding the area, with his explanations about wine production and the wine industry, and his heritage stories. We enjoyed his wines as well. Highly recommemded!!!
