Everything was wonderful. Beautiful accommodation, extremely nice hosts, perfect location, excellent restaurant next door called 1864 (owned an run by the same hosts as the accommodation).

This accommodation was very pleasant, the owners were looking afer us more than one can expect. They were unbelievably nice and willing to help and comfort us any time. Their offered breakfasts were very rich - fresh fruit from the orchard variety of food to choose from and also drinks of different kinds. Which was an excellent start of the day.

Quinta da Cancela is an amazing place. First of all, the location is beautiful, with vinyards all around, a big lush garden, and a small pool. Then, our room was charming snd cos, And finally, Arthur, our host, was so welcoming and generous with advice regarding the area, with his explanations about wine production and the wine industry, and his heritage stories. We enjoyed his wines as well. Highly recommemded!!!
