Chalet Ficalho was absolutely gorgeous, it exceeded every expectation. The garden and the pool were stunning and so relaxing, the owners were delightful to be around and the Chalet in itself is a gem, with wonderfully decorated and restored interiors and very confortable rooms. Very warm welcome by Carlos in his beautifully designed villa which is situated in the hills above Cascais. Easy parking right in front of the premise. Perfect location to explore the area around Cascais, Sintra, Lisboa etc.. Outstanding breakfast with lots of fresh fruits, high quality coffee etc., croissants, delicous cheese, basically everything in a cosy and decent villa-style atmosphere. As opposed to most other accomodations, you really have a host and owner of the premise who cares about high-level standards and knows how to please his guests. We will be back next time!

The historical vila is amazingly reconditioned. The garden is big and calm, perfectly for reading or laying in the sun. The pool is good for swimming. Our room was on the ground floor with double doors opening to the garden, very dreamy.

The location was great. Very close to the centre but quiet. The staff, in particular Sophia were absolutely wonderful and so hospitable. Breakfasts were lovely with a nice variety. Will definitely stay here again
