I was a solo female traveller traveling from China. I was initally staying at a place next to this guest house. That hotel rooms were not clean, wifi was very patchy and then i sifted to this Guest House, HikkInn. Everything from room to the transport service was just on point. The hosts were amazing, went out of their way to make me feel home and comfortable. Delicious Food, Speed wifi, safe, secure, peaceful, and comfortable rooms. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Skardu. Thank you for everything Mr. Tahir.

I’m so grateful to the family who run Sehrish. They picked me up from the airport, let me use the guesthouse as a base while I explored Baltistan, hooked me up with a motorcycle and later a driver, and gave me good advice. But what did I really love at Sehrish? The hot, high pressure water! After long days in the dust of Baltistan or returning after week-long stints up country the bathrooms at Sehrish are a godsend. I’ll be forever grateful for those transfiguring showers. Thanks so much, Sehrish family!

The hotel was on the cheaper side and it was a 40 min walk from the bazaar. The guy on the phone spoke English so we were able to communicate. I got a gas heater for like an hour a day.

Lavender Cottages was like living in a fairy tale with all the beautiful flowers, wood scrollwork and architecture. The people there were so friendly and helpful. It is such a delightful, relaxing place with restaurants in easy walking’s distance. It is the perfect location to explore Khaplu Palace Fort, the Katpana cold desert and Upper Kachura Lake. At the end of a day of sight seeing, don’t miss an authentic Pakistani BBQ dinner at Lavender Cottages! If you are more adventurous, the proprietor spent decades doing the big treks to Pakistan’s biggest mountains and has even published a coffee table book with outstanding photography! We will definitely stay at Lavender Cottages on a return trip to Skardu to tackle the Concordia Trek!

We stayed at Northlanders for 3 nights, and it was an amazing experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. The room was very comfortable, clean, and peaceful, it honestly felt like staying in a 5-star hotel. The owner Sikandar bhai was a great person and always replied quickly whenever I texted him. The food was delicious! Haider bhai was very kind and helpful, even when I asked for tea late at night, he always provided it with a smile. He is also an excellent cook, and his Chicken Karahi became our favorite. Haider bhai kindness and smile is true reflection of their culture. Mehadi bhai was also wonderful. He arranged a car for us and was very cooperative throughout our trip. He helped us find good shopping areas and even waited patiently for hours (4-5 hrs) with a friendly smile. We always found him supportive and helpful. A big thank you to Haider bhai, Mehadi bhai, and Sikandar bhai. You all are amazing! Whether someone is traveling alone or with family, I would 100% recommend Northlanders. They make you feel safe, cared for, and right at home. We’ll definitely come back next year, there’s no place better than this!

We stayed at Northlanders for 3 nights, and it was an amazing experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. Amazing and very clean place with a beautiful garden to relax. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and there is hot water most of the time. I would definietely recommend Sehrish Guest House Skardu and I hope to be back next year.

Very nice family-run guesthouse with cozy rooms and a beautiful garden. The hosts are very helpful in organising tours and took us to some places around Skardu, as hiking to Kharpocho Fort and a very nice hike to Organic village. Also the local food we could try at the guesthouse was very delicious.

Spent 4 nights at Sehrish and had an amazing stay. Mazhar and Azhar were great hosts. Mazhar took us on tours 3 different days in the jeep and we saw lots of highlights of Skardu. Highly recommend this hotel and tour agency!
