Estela and her husband are wonderful and greeted us with a smile after trekking to Machu Picchu. Their warmth is a great touch you don't get at most hotels now. They were extremely accommodating holding our bags before we had even checked in. Also, they had hot showers which is difficult to find in Cucso. Highly recommend staying here!!

Vilma is an absolutely extraordinary land lady. She is the nicest, most engaged host I have ever met. If you need taxi, directions through the city or a super early breakfast - there is no problem for her. The whole place is really clean and comfortable and she makes you feel like home. The localization is a bit distant from the direct city center, about 20 minutes walk to the Plaza de Armas, but thanks to that it is more calm. The markets are nearby and it is close to the San Pedro market. I trully reccomand this stay.

The owner Salome is lovely, she does everything to make her guests happy. The breakfast is good and enough, the walk to the main plaza is about 10 minutes. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing. We would definitely stay there again.

Carmen’s family is the friendliest family I met in Cusco. They genuinely care about you. The room was clean and tidy—you could even smell the disinfectant in the bathroom, spotless and well cared for. The bedding was the most comfortable I slept on in Cusco: fluffy, soft, and very warm, just like at home. The temperature difference between day and night here is huge, and I stayed in two other hotels where I was freezing at night and couldn’t sleep. If only I had stayed here from the beginning. It’s hard to imagine getting such a good breakfast at this price. The children are also incredibly lovely. On Christmas Eve, Alayne invited me to join them for Mass and shared so much knowledge with me—I truly enjoyed our conversations. Highly recommend staying here. You may need to walk a short uphill road to reach the place, but in return you get unbelievably quiet and restful sleep. Places closer to the main street can be very noisy with traffic. This stay is absolutely worth it and offers amazing value.
