Very good communication with owner - the lady was very helpful, very clean linen, good kitchen corner, nice to seat at the pool terrasse, situated very close the city of the small town - everything withing the walking distance, incl. San Carlos beach.

Everything!! I enjoyed my stay in the San Carlos town and it's proximity to the beach, a 10minute walk, and the expansive shopping area of Coronado, easily accessible by a 50 cent (or less) bus ride! Specifically, as a solo traveler and youngish baby boomer, the San Carlos Beach Inn exceeded my expectations and is my favorite of all my bookings from the month-long adventure in Panama! The staff, who spoke English and Spanish, were very kind, mature, and accommodating -- well done! I originally booked 4 nights as the second last stop on my journey; and after the second day, I requested an additional 3-night stay which was easily accommodated! All of the basics that you would want are available in this quaint little town, within mere meters of the Inn, including a Dentist next door! I truly feel like I have found my home away from home! To Courtney, Edgar and the rest of the superb staff members including at the Cafe, (and especially to Joe & Lise) I sincerely thank you for your kindness and at times tolerating my incessant stories! :) Looking forward to seeing you all next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Escapada al mar in Panama! The place was exactly what we were looking for on our way back to Panama City —comfortable, clean, and perfectly located near the beach. One of the highlights was the access to a private beach club, complete with a swimming pool as well as sunbeds, and parasols on the beach - it really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We felt very well taken care of and truly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene getaway by the sea!

The beach house was ideal for what we needed. We took up 2 of the 4 rooms and used the common area quite a bit. The rooms are simple and comfortable with AC. There are facilities to store food and cook but we only used the fridge. The beach is 30 seconds away and the Lilian restaurant is about 6 minute walk! Perfect! The breakfast was basic but tasty - eggs with toast and coffee. The Fonda across the road is great for lunch too. Patricia was a fabulous host, helpful, attentive and friendly. Would 100% recommend!

Andrea is a lovely person, she do not speak any English but she fullfil nearly any wish you have. We stood there for 2 nights and enjoyed the wonderful beach and the hospitality.
