This is not just some accommodation, this is home. Emina made us feel very welcomed at her house and along with the unique architecture, the surroundings and also other lovely guests, this was an experience we will never forget. Wish we had more time to spend here. We spent one night on our way from Muscat to Jebel Shams. The rooms are simple but clean, the bathroom was well equipped. Incredible views waited for us on the rooftop along with pet dogs making us company. I have to admit the breakfast was rather smaller/simpler but everybody has different taste, so it’s hard to please all. Hoping to come sometime again!

Old house is located just next to ruins, so cool. Room is very nice, has all facilities needed it's quiet, there's also refridgerator and coffee and bottled water are free to take at all times. Also very nice rooftop terrace. Polite and helpful receptionist.

- Excellent location. Very close on foot to the traditional village (some minutes). Private parking into the house. The guest houses in the village seem good too, but they are very difficult to access (it is needed to park the car at the entrance of the village and to climb up on foot several hundred of meters). In Roghan Hospitality Inn, the park place is just by the door of the hotel. -Very nice room A blend of traditional and modern cultures. Room very modern and well designed. There is an AC and heating system , but we didn't use it. The lowest outside temperature was 13 degrees during the night, but temperature of the room was kept at 20 degrés without heating thanks to the very isolating windows. Nice view on the mountains through panoramique windows. - Traditional diner and buffet on the terrace. - Very nice staff. The owner took time at the end of the diner to talk with us and explain a lot about Oman. In the morning after the night, he accompanied us for a tour of the old village. Really very nice. We stopped at the honey maker shop. Very interesting explanation from the honey maker. And a lot of différent kinds of honey. - We thank very much the owner of the Roghan Hospitality Inn (who speaks English very well) and have special thanks to Annie who took care of our diner and Mohamed.

Bablu was super nice and helpful. Room was very nice and position perfect for visit old town, walk around and visit some other village.

Beautiful ancient house in the old zone of Al Hamra, the room was very nice and clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. We had breakfast and dinner every day at the accommodation in the top terrace with views of the palm trees and the mountains, the food was delicious and abundant. It's a special accommodation that we will always remember, if we come back to Al Hamra we will stay there again.

Jabel shams stars house is located in Al Ḩamrāʼ and has a heated pool and city views. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony.
