The whole apartment was beautifully done up, and with all amenities set up. We loved the kitchen and the wine stoppers and knife set were a nice touch. Oh, and the thoughtful homemade muffins and handwritten welcome note was much appreciated. Robert was very generous with his time and advice for tourists.

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite. The house has plenty of living space, a large garden area around it (and cute sheep neighbours!) while being within 5 minutes of walking to the waterfront. The bedrooms are classic, while the bathroom and modern kitchen and living area feel more recently renovated and were light and spacious. We loved how easy it was to enter, we appreciated the heating options, and overall loved our stay here.

Everything…I loved my stay at the Petite Suite! The location was perfect, not right in town but close enough to walk with a view to die for. The spa was most welcome & I loved that it had an enviro friendly loo. Everything was quality. It’s close to the main road, so there is traffic noise but I’m a light sleeper & it didn’t bother me ❤️
