Everything amazing host was very helpful

We had a lovely ground floor room in this 100 year old home. Rodger (the owner) was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is self serve in the dining room with lovely views over the town and the bay. We were able to use the shared kitchen as well. The bed was super comfy and the shower had the best pressure I have ever experienced. Lovey spot for a few days.

We received a wonderful welcome from our hosts, who had already given us great advice about where to stop and see fur seals on our way there. The bedroom is a good size and the living area/kitchen also. It's in a peaceful location, convenient for coastal sightseeing away from tourists.

The house is as historical (built around 1880) as Oamaru`s Victorian Precinct. It has been restored with detail so it is possible to feel the touch of 19th century. The hostess is the most welcoming and friendly person offering You glass of port from antique tableware when checking in. Bedroom is both authentic and romantic, with a bouquet of fresh flowers. The delicious breakfast was served with a bouquet of lavender. Lobby is for use of all quests with glance on the ocean. House is located on top of hill adding few more steps to reach historical center but that just adds to the experience of historical setting when people walked down and up the hill all the time. Would recommend to anyone for historical and authentical experience and also the most friendly hostess.
