The place is really nice and we loved to stay there! the rooms are basic but totally fine and the owner even changed the towels and bed sheets after two nights. She is really caring and helpful. She organised a tour guide for us for the volcano hike and helped us to rent a motorbike. She also offers laundry and breakfast and i can really recommend getting breakfast there! It’s 130 cordobas and you get something freshly prepared from her, every morning something different, everything was delicious and especially the different fresh juices! It’s a really peaceful place in a quiet neighborhood and we would definitely stay there again.

Hostel was amazing. Family was so welcoming and supporting in organising all activities as taxi, kayaks. Food was delicious and location is the best on the island, close to the beach and the best restaurants:) Fully recommend that place.

We booked to stay half our nights on Ometepe here at Hostal Bullshark. We ended up extending and spending our whole week here. The place really is perfect for a nature retreat. The terrace is absolutely beautiful and is a perfect place to just sit and relax, enjoy a coffee/Fresca/tea etc. The rooms are huge and very clean. The location is just right, away from the towns but still on the main road so easy to find. You can rent mopeds from the hostal too. Finally Tatiana, Ana and the family are brilliant hosts, they really make you feel like you’re part of their family while staying in their hospedaje, it was a real highlight to wonder around chatting to all the family and building an understanding of what Ometepe life is really like. 10/10 would recommend this place!

The House was clean and cozy, you have a complete bathroom for yourself. Sometimes there can be a water shortage on the island, so in case there’s a problem, just ask the staff, they are all very friendly and happy to help you out.

In city proximity, the rooms were good size, good water pressure, all the flora , the in house restaurant/bar , the view can go up to, the coffee shop across street , the price. Will be back to watch superbowl this weekend !!

The people that worked there were so kind and helpful! The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed while staying there. It was also very cheap and good location; it was no problem walking to the centre (15 mins). We would 100% recommend this place
