The host Matnor is great. He is super responsive in terms of communication and left us breakfast outside our room twice and offered us breakfast a third time. He also let us keep our bags at the guesthouse while we went on an overnight trip. The room itself is functional and clean with a comfortable bed. Most rooms look out onto a garden area with tables and chairs outside so nice for enjoying breakfast al fresco. I believe there is also a washing machine and a basic food preparation area. Free water is also provided.

We had a wonderful stay at Seladah Homestay. The property consists of two combined houses, making it quite spacious with a total of eight rooms (two rooms downstairs and the rest upstairs). It features an RFID door lock system and an automatic gate with a remote, so there’s no need to use a traditional key. We arrived late at night, but self-check-in was convenient, allowing us to settle in without waiting for the owner. The homestay also offers high-speed Wi-Fi, estimated at around 500 Mbps. Since all guests live under the same roof, you’ll have the opportunity to meet your housemates. Our rooms, located upstairs, were designed for two people and came with private bathrooms, which was very convenient. The living room has TVs available for use, and a washing machine is beneath the staircase. The parking area accommodates about three cars inside the compound and two additional cars outside. The owner was also very responsive to my inquiries. Thank you very much for a great experience! I will definitely return for my next stay. :)

This homestay is perfect. It is a home in a beautiful garden with 3 cute cats. The house is located in the village so you get a real local experience. Zak, the host, goes out of his way to make each guest comfortable and welcome. Tea, coffee, toiletries, towels...everything is provided. I planned to stay for 4 days and extended twice to stay for over 2 months 🙂

Great homestay and awesome hosts Louise and Polycarp. We saw a probiscus monkey in the back yard! Apparently, other monkeys do show up as well. The pool was a nice treat. Our room was comfy and spacious. The view through the bathroom window was amazing. Grounds are lovely. Close for pick up for the river night cruise and our hosts dropped us off and picked us up at the Sarawak Cultural Village. Would totally recommend.
