I stayed here for over 2 months and cannot express enough how perfect my stay has been. Zak thinks of everything before you even realise you need it yourself. The host, Zak, is excellent. Very friendly, helpful, with a great heart. He provided me with all the information about where to go, what to do, and he also offered some tours in beautiful places like the Bengo Dam and the caves. The location is good, very close to the waterfront, which can be reached on foot and then by jetty (only 1 RM! Last ride: 6 pm - afterwards you either take a grab or walk about 30 min until the Darul Hana bridge). It's very safe and the people are incredibly friendly. I was stopped on the street by little children who greeted me and asked for my name! The rooms are comfortable, and the cats are lovely!
