The property is renovated beautifully, keeping the old time charm. The view of the east side of Penang was amazing especially at night. We were lucky to be there while Kek Lok Si temple was lit up for CNY. Raj, the owner, was so welcoming and it was genuine. He should be proud of what he has achieved with restoring the place and the additions to improve the comforts for guests. All the staff we very pleasant and helpful. We were lucky enough to see a big black squirrel from our balcony as well as a family of dusky leaf monkeys on our walk nearby.

So far the greatest hostel I've ever been. The staff is so kind and friendly, the air-conditioning is working well and the room had hair dryer, they also prepared toothpaste with toothbrush, shampoo, iron board and more. Will definitely come again here. 👍

The place is so beautiful and very quiet. It’s the perfect spot for solo travelers, couples or friends. Its clean, nicely decorated and smack in the middle of George town. They have a common lounge and kitchen which has all the amenities and even free bread. Highly recommended!

good location,. Every thing can be reached by walk, restaurant, street food, street art etc. staff were nice, friendly and helpful, the owner gave us a warm welcome with greeting card and travel map. the facilities in the common area were fully offered, toaster, washing machine, fridge. the room was big and quiet easy self check in
