Wow. Best hotel I've stayed at in the Maldives. This hotel went above and beyond for me and made me feel right at home. Bed was super comfortable, they cleaned my room every day, had a nice expresso machine and made a delicious local breakfast (there is a continental option too). The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable. They were so helpful that they even went above and beyond to get something back to me, which I left at the hotel. Thank you!!

A Wonderful Stay in Paradise! I had an unforgettable experience at this hotel! The rooms are impeccably clean and incredibly spacious, offering all the comforts one could ask for. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring a restful night every single day. One of my favorite features was the beautiful terrace overlooking a lush, serene garden — the perfect spot to relax. I especially appreciated the convenient socket on the terrace, which made charging devices outdoors so easy. The bathroom is spacious and fully equipped with all necessary amenities, and the outdoor shower was simply amazing — a refreshing and luxurious touch to the overall experience. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always trying to ensure my stay was perfect. I also loved the delicious food, especially the authentic and tasty Maldivian breakfast — a true culinary delight! The hotel offers well-organized tours and excursions, which made exploring the area seamless and enjoyable. The Smart TV with YouTube and Netflix access added an extra level of convenience. Finally, it’s the attention to detail that makes this hotel exceptional — beach towels, even beach bag, snorkeling equipment, free bikes and so much more are thoughtfully provided to make your stay effortless and memorable. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The added bonus was the international charger, which made it easy to charge my phone and devices. There is also a local shop nearby, and the beach is within a short walk. The manager also assisted with speed boat transfers and was happy to share his knowledge about the island, including the best spots for snorkeling.

Room is very comfortable and clean, they clean it twice a day; Staff is just amazing, Mahmoon the manager explained us everything in the island, Pathum provided us great food and general tips about Sri Lanka (next destination) and Mujeer did the cleaning partwith excellence (even decorating the bed twice); Location is very good, next to cafes and local market Wifi worked perfectly well; All of this for a reasonable value for money in a paradise destination of Maldives, in summary I couldn’t recommend more!

This was our first time in the Maldives, on Dhigurah Island, at the Raakanii Hotel, and it was the best choice. From the very beginning, we felt very well taken care of, at ease, and a bit like family. Malda, the manager, explained all our doubts and questions about the island's rules. Amjad is an invaluable addition to this intimate hotel, starting and ending each day with a smile. We spent a 8 days here. The island is very long, so daily walks to the beach with the reef, food shops, and souvenir shops were an added attraction. The rooms were very clean and equipped with basic necessities like towels, coffee, water, and toiletries in the bathroom. We had the last room in which the WiFi wasn't sufficient, but the next day an additional router was added, which strengthened the internet connection so everything worked smoothly. We highly recommend this hotel. If we ever return, we will definitely stay there again! Greetings to all employees, especially Amjad!!!

Beautiful guesthouse. Rooms clean and comfortable. Fresh Maldivian breakfast every day. The two hosts were brilliant and were very helpful arranging transfers, excursions and renting bikes. Could not fault Sunny Stay!

Thanks to Maumoon and our stay at Muraka, we had the best holiday of our lives. I genuinely couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more perfect place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need, and Muraka itself – tucked away at the local end of Dhigurah island – felt like a true slice of paradise. Maumoon is honestly one of the kindest people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond in every single way to make our stay special, always thinking ahead and doing everything he could to make things easy and unforgettable for us. From recommending the best restaurants and things to do, to making sure we had bikes to explore the island – we felt so looked after from start to finish. I still think about our time at Muraka and feel genuinely emotional – it was that special. I honestly don’t understand why anyone would choose a resort when they could have this instead! While we were there, we swam with turtles, spotted whale sharks and stingrays, and enjoyed the most breathtaking beach we’ve ever seen. It was pure magic! We've recommended it to everyone we know, and we’ve been dreaming about going back ever since we left – so thank you, Maumoon and Noor, for giving us memories we’ll treasure forever! We never thought we'd be able to go to the Maldives, but this was an incredibly affordable and exceptional experience so I can guarantee if you come here you'll forget you ever had anything to worry about!
