Wonderful homestay with an incredibly welcoming family. It is because of gems like these that I love traveling! Worth the hair razing drive along a tight road. Definitely do a day lake trip with the host.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. A huge room that had a balcony overlooking the square and shady trees. Super clean, secure and comfortable, 5 minutes walk to the bus stop. Angela, the host was so kind, friendly and super helpful. Her mama even baked me apple strudel which was so appreciated. Make sure you visit Besac, the winery. I thought it would be expensive but it wasn’t. Great views and delicious food

Nice place to stay if you have car/bike. Lovely breakfast and was good enough to prepare it very early in the morning for us. Made us a fine fish dinner. Communication was through German.

Kriska and her family were super accommodating and understanding of us. We booked the wrong room for the amount of people we had and they still allowed us to stay as there were no other rooms available. They were always around to help with any questions or requests, they even offered for us to use their washing machine when we needed laundry done. The room is not huge but has all you need in it and it is located only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Parking is also available onsite, but may require some coordination (usually done by Kriska's father) as it is shared with other guests.

Everything was really nice. They thought of every little detail to provide in apartment which is modernly equipped. They welcomed us with complementary dish. Everyone was very friendly and nice. A charming family runs the place: we were met by Tiana, her husband, and their sweet little daughter. In the morning, their mother made us the tastiest coffee, and their father offered figs from the trees on the property. Also, we had to leave early but changed our plan and stayed there an extra hour, as it was so cozy and tranquil: swings in the green grass yard, a big wooden table under the vineyard trees, a picturesque dog, and a funny little kitten playing with us. The apartment itself was clean and had 2 sleeping places on 2 floors (we sleep separately with my better half). Everything was clean and tidy. Would come back again!
