Really enjoyed our stay at thomasha’s homestay, very reasonably priced accommodation which was perfect for our stop over. The owner was really helpful and brought us to Ellawela and diyaluma waterfalls which we highly recommend to anyone staying here in the future.

Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

By far our best accommodation in Sri Lanka! The room is spacious, tastefully decorated, with a clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The view from the balcony (both from the room and the breakfast area) is breathtaking and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. To top it off, breakfast is fresh, copious and with a good mix of local and more Western options. The only thing we regret is that we could stay only one night.

Stunning views. Delicious local kitchen. Lovely staff. Nice local (really secret) waterfall. And a really tasteful accommodation. It’s a bit far from Ella, but they organised us a friended Tuk Tuk driver who showed us all Ella’s must-seen’s at a really fair price.

This place is incredible :) our best accomodation in Sri Lanka. View is spectacular, we can see Ravana waterfall from bed. Room is very clean, cosy, owners thought about everything: hot shower, fridge, cool glasses and water, shampoo and shower gel, we can use even hairdryer here! Tasty, local breakfast, juices, coffee. Very kind and helpful owners, we felt very comfortable and spent fantastic time here. Highly recommend! Thank you for having us 🌸

Very clean place, very clean bed (cleanest bed we had so far in Sri Lanka), beautiful view and balcony in front of every room. Bathroom with very hot water and window. Super nice host. Breakfast very tasty and variable. Located a bit on the hill, walk about 5-10 minutes to the centre, restaurants nearby, but also nature. Perfect location. The owner guy was very friendly. They allowed us to keep the luggages for an early check as we arrived the city earlrier than we expected. We booked the tuk tuk with the same owner guy, who took us to all the destinations we asked for, that too from early morning 5am. He charged around 5000lkr which is very reasonable compared to the other drivers. On the way, he explained about all the places. The stay was super comfy. He carried our luggages all the way from the place where the tuk tuk were dropped. Our luggages were very heavy. but he was really helpful. SDuring night, we were very tired and at the same time we were hungry, but coulndt go out. When we explained this to them, he went to the city and got the food for us. As no food apps work on that region. Highly recommend this place for the super stay surrounded by a lot of humanity towards the people.

Nice and comfortable room very close to Ella main road. Hosts are very nice and friendly. Place only has 1 room for guests, making it extremely personal and enjoyable stay. Shower and bathroom was very clean.
