highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a more relaxed home stay villa.The pool was nice, friendly staff & owner. We were able to park our tuk tuk inside the gate.calm and peaceful place highly recommend.

We loved everything at Dandelion property. Our room was big, comfortable, clean, bright. The hotel is located near the main road but it was quite silent, and we could sleep very well. Generator of the hotel worked very well during the power cuts. Very nice to have a working fridge keeping our water and fruits fresh ! The owner is the kindest we've met in Sri Lanka. Very good english, very good manners. Professional. Good tips. The room was cleaned during our stay with new sheets and towels. 100% recommended, probably our best homestay in the country.

I like the peace and quietness. And the nature. Lots of wild animals. Like squirrels monkeys and birds. Rooms are so spacious. Everything is clean. Close to the beach restaurant and shops. There is aircon in the room and big fan on the ceiling if u dont like a cold aircon.

The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and polite, checking in and making sure I had everything I needed. A shared fridge was also available which was perfect for my iced coffee and any leftovers from other restaurants. The room was more spacious than I anticipated with practical little touches including a huge clothes rack to dry your swimmers. A delicious home cooked continental breakfast- the best eggs I had in Sri Lanka. This stay was such good value for money for anyone looking for some quiet and affordable luxury.

The stay was very pleasant. Host was very helpful. Breakfast was good. Hotel is 1min walk to the beach. Rooms are seaview.

We have been staying at this hotel for a week and have already extended our stay by a month. You won't find better service in Sri Lanka. The manager Chandana and all the staff are the friendliest people I have ever met. Any request will be fulfilled as soon as possible. Everything you ask for is available. Breakfast is included in the price, the table is not extensive, but every day the staff comes up with something new. For lunch and dinner you can choose a dish from the menu, the portions are huge for an average price! Every evening fresh fish is prepared for us, we buy it by ourselves at the local market. We pay quite a bit and get a delicious dinner right in the room. The hotel is on a hill which makes the views even better. There are many zones on a very well-groomed territory, a reception with a hammock and a large sofa, a dining area, a garden, a swimming pool, verandas near the room, bar. There are monitor lizards, squirrels, birds, sometimes monkeys appear) The staff also monitors their behavior! It’s not close to the ocean, but the road on a scooter takes 5-7 minutes, we don’t feel it at all. There is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the island. Chandana also provided me with a new, beautiful scooter, at a low price for the island. We don’t feel much insects, everything is as it should be within the island. In addition, cute lizards live near the room doing their work so The room is spacious, very high stylish ceilings, minimalistic renovation. The room has a kettle, a refrigerator that freezes perfectly, TV, air conditioning. There is a laundry service, they will wash your clothes for minimal price. Very friendly owner made us feel right at home. The rooms had comfy beds, were a good size and had decent fans and AC. If you go to Unawatuna Flamingo is a great option. Not fancy but very homely and welcoming and has everything you need. There's also a couple of nice communal sitting areas for rainy days or chilling out It is situated right in the middle of everything.

Little oasis with squirrels, monkeys and lizards wandering outside. Beautiful setting and very helpful host. Breakfast is very tasty .
