Lovely hosts, we booked the breakfast and dinner option. The breakfast was huge, and the dinner menu had many options to choose from. It was great to come back from the safari and not have to worry about going out somewhere for dinner. I read on a post recently that someone said they had no hot water. Our bathroom had two shower heads, one was just a cold shower, the other hand held shower was connected to what looked like an instantaneous hot water system and we had as much hot water as we needed. We also booked an all day safari through the accommodation, which I would rate 10 out of 10. The vehicle was comfortable, the driver/guide spotted so many animals for us, he didn't rush around like some vehicles around us, our driver even assisted another bogged vehicle while the other vehicles around us just drove past the bogged vehicle. Seeing some of the safari Jeeps that day, some were clearly unroadworthy and with cracked windows that would have limited their clients ability to see well. If you are considering a safari I would highly recommend using a reliable service with a great reputation like this one as I would definitely not have wanted to be in some of those vehicles. PS we didn't get to see a lepord, but we did see a Sloth Bear which apparently are unusual to see at Yala normally.

10/10, 5 stars It worths every dollar Everything about this place is Perfect. The owner makes your trip x100 more joyable.. he gave us a bird safar the day before. picked me up from the bus station and dropped me back when i left, waited an hour for the bus with me and made sure im safe. He gives and dont expect back. The jeep and tour guid were perfect.. the tour guide spoke english fluintly and stopped at every animal, we saw the difference with ither guides who did not care and obviously we had a privilage with the jeep and excellent guide. If u want a perfect experience of yala, just go there and u guarantee will!! 10/10 And this guy gigles are the best 🤣

The best stay in Sri Lanka. The host was very attentive and kind. The room was very clean and big, and had a safari vibe🙂. The food was absolutely delicious - fish with pineapples was my favourite. The host organised our safari, wake us in early morning, gave us breakfast to go, and we had lunch after trip. We met an elephant on way back to hotel, and fed him with bananas. So I recommend not to eat bananas and save it for elephants) I’d recommend to stay there for 2 or 3 days, cause after safari you want to rest and lay in hammock. I”ll return to stay here, I’m sure)

5 star facilities hotel at reasonable price. Enjoyed the stay. Staff is very hospitable. Anyone who plans to visit Yala National Park must stay here. Quite an experience!

The food cooked by the family was insane! The best we had in Sri Lanka! She also keept it a bit less spicy for us. We also enjoyed the view and relaxing location, finally had time and quite place to think, relax and grab thaughts. The daughters int he family are very friendly and speak perfect english. They shared with us home made sweets and gave the recipe. That was very nice and peaceful stay. We would definitely recommend it and the price was very good for this what we had. We enjoyed some talks and discussions about sri lankan politics and culture with the owners. Very good place and people.
