Very nice and service oriented staff and funny manager. They will help you with everything you have just to ask them. Had a very delicious dinner with a variety of curry's. The rooms are good. Bed and towels are clean too.

The property is literally in the jungle, and there are plenty of animals roaming around, from fireflies to birds, monkeys, reptiles and frogs, one even came out of the sink, but no worries, he was friendly. We had an observation tower above our room, which put us right above the treetops. Tasty food and very hospitable staff. You won't go wrong choosing tree trails for your stay in Sigiriya.

My wife and I have always prefer to stay in an urban and nature environment. Firstly, I would say that the owners Mr. Mahesh and his spouse Mdm. Chandi has delivered the true Sri Lankan hospitality, they provided personalised services and always suggest the best on what activity we can do around Sigiriya. They even prepared fantastic meals for us based on our taste buds. They have never been pushy and that's the best 👌. Besides that, we have experienced a bombastic self vegetation plantation around the hidden lake cottages, If you are lucky 😃 actually every day is a lucky day, you will hear peacocks, cows, elephants and migration of various bird with their chippig sound and many other living creatures. It's like only ONE Call away and they are there to assist, In fact, Mr Mahesh shuttled us to the main road in order for us to take the bus. Little did we know that travelling by bus was satisfying and this was suggested by the beautiful property owners. Everything was so 👉 on point whereby on our last day, we did feel like we were gonna miss this home. Myself and my wife will definitely introduce this soothing and calm cottage to all our family, friends and those who need suggestions 😊. Room was spacious, comfortable beds, awesome breakfast even with limited staff on vacation days. Very friendly and informative staff. Very close to Sigiriiya we were just walking to ticket counter early morning. Like 10 minute walk to ticket counter. Absolutely good service it exceeded my expectation. Great value for money

This is the real sri lankan experience! The house was made by the owner and everything is so cute. Definitely worth to stay here with that price!! The host and his family are so kind and cook really good food! Both dinner and breakfast were delicious.

This was one of the best stays we had in Sri Lanka over our 3 week trip, Lakshitha and his family were excellent hosts, the room was simple but brilliant, and the food was fantastic Details - spotless room - large double bed with great mattress and no problems for me (189cm) which I have had at other Homestays with hard wooden ends to the bed - bathroom was clean, also the shower had a small inset so that shower water didn’t get all over the place which was a nice addition - we were offered toothbrushes and razors which was very kind - air conditioning worked perfectly, and was quiet - bed had large mosquito net - towels and soap provided Hospitality was excellent, we were given juice on arrival, a fantastic and large breakfast included, as well as free bottled (cool) water throughout our stay with every meal. We were also offered transport (which we took to Negombo and was a fantastic quality car) and Safari tours (which we didn’t have time to do) at a price lower than what we were quoted on the street, Lakshitha doesn’t take any commission and is just trying to make your stay the best possible We would stay here again if we came back to Sigiriya for sure, this is an amazing stay, at a really good price.

Our room was spacious and really charming. The bed is very comfortable and has a fancy mosquito net. The terrace is large with nice dining table where you can enjoy eating tasteful dinner or breakfast prepared by the owners. Food is very delicious! The owner is very helpful and he arrange whatever you need. The room is spotless clean. We highly recommend this stay!

The host family was very kind and welcomed us with warm tea. The accommodation is surrounded by nature, with a beautiful garden and adorable children. Everyone was extremely friendly and full of hospitality. Although I couldn’t finish the breakfast due to my gluten allergy, the grandmother kindly made pancakes for us, and I was grateful for the thoughtfulness. Despite the challenges, they helped us arrange an early morning jeep tour to see elephants and assisted with entry to Sigiriya Rock, even on short notice.
