Amazing hotel! A piece of the jungle in the city center! Monkeys, squirrels, parrots and many more) Everything is so beautiful and authentic. Very welcoming and friendly staff❤️‍🔥 They met and served a welcome drink. We took a room with a jacuzzi, a fabulous room. The room includes slippers, bathrobes, hairdryer, beach towels in a basket and an umbrella. Great pool. Breakfast and dinner were requested in the room. Amazingly delicious breakfast, the hotel cooks delicious food. I’m just in love with this hotel 💔 I will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much to the entire team of this hotel!

Everything from start to finish. Sampath is just an EXCEPTIONAL host! He welcomed us, offered tea/coffee/snacks, gave us plenty of tips and ideas about what to do in the area. Personally took us to some places. The Eco Lodge is kept extremely nice and clean. Very comfortable beds and all facilities. Also, Sampath's wife is an amazing cook. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and our wishes were totally taken into account. They also have a super cute dog and cat. Just... Book this place, it's amazing!

I have traveled many times and stayed in numerous hotels, but none have matched the comfort and care I found here. A heartfelt thanks to the owner, Mr. Shane, the manager, Sisira, and the entire staff, who went above and beyond to take care of me, especially when I was unwell. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. The food is absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with so much attention to detail. The rooms are spotlessly clean, neat, and designed to provide maximum comfort. The environment is stunning, especially with the serene riverside view that adds so much charm and peace to the stay. What impressed me further was the reasonable pricing, which is more than justified for the exceptional service and experience they provide. For me, this place has become more than just a hotel—it’s my second home. Whenever I return to Sri Lanka, I won’t be looking for another place to stay, because I’ve already found the perfect one. 💖

Truly a hidden gem in Colombo! We stumbled upon this spot by accident, and what a happy coincidence it was. The experience is more like a cozy Airbnb than a standard hotel. The rooms are clean with all the basic amenities, and there is a kitchen where you can prepare meals. The location is excellent—every major café and tourist attraction is just a quick TukTuk ride away. The host, Ignatius Joseph, is amazing. You can tell he has put a lot of thought into the house, which features beautiful colonial-style decor. He was always available to help and shared fantastic tips on local cafes. It was a pleasure meeting him. Tip: I highly recommend booking directly with him! 10/10

Great host. Really helpful in nature, peaceful location, a bit farther away from main attraction area of Colombo, a bike/scooter/tuk tuk/bus needed for commuting between Galle face, Pettah, Fort area. Great budget option. Really homestay like feeling, finally stayed there for more than one instances, the owner became a friend, still in connection with her. Without a word she agreed to keep our luggage when we were out of Colombo for further journey. Would like to repeat the same option of staying here.

Shiranthi is a lovely host. She gave us a lot of useful information and made us tea every morning. The location is a little outside of Colombo but reachable very easily and cheap by local bus. It felt like home for 3 nights. We would definitely recommend

My room at Shiranthi Guest House was very peaceful and was spacious and comfortable. Shops and transport were an easy walk away through a pretty neighbourhood, and the owner was particularly kind. This is a quiet, inexpensive, and convenient place to stay in Colombo.
