I arrived during a hot afternoon and as soon as I sat at the reception area, I received a welcome drink, my bags were taken to the room and the AC turned on so the room would be nice and cool by the time I walk in. Inside the room it had everything you would expect from a pricey hotel. It is only a few steps walk to the Kalkuda beach. (I found Kalkuda beach to be less crowded and cleaner than the Pasikuda beach). I enjoyed a really nice Sri Lankan breakfast during my stay.

We had the best time! The property was great and the air con worked well! There was enough privacy as we were round the corner from the house. The family were really lovely and kind people and they made us very welcome. They also both spoke very good English. They cooked a very delicious breakfast which we LOVED. They also kindly rented us bikes and drove us to Arugam bay at the end of our stay for a very good price. Thanks!

The family was so beautiful, the room was very big and comfortable beds, great location with a short stroll to the beach, the family made us a lovely curry dinner one night which i highly recommend. TIP: the sunrise hotel which is just down the road let's you swim in the amazing big pool for the day if you rent a sun bed off them. It was 2000 rupiah per person and we also had lunch there.

Exceptional gueshouse!! The owner is so kind, welcoming and helpful! The rooms are really clean and comfortable. The patio is beautiful with the plants and the trees. Nice place to relax. The food is also good and for a good price. It’s close from other restaurants and the beach. I wish we would have time to stay longer! One of the best accommodation I did in Sri Lanka.

The staff person Sindu is Really nice person. He treated us really well with his family. The food that they provided are really tasty. we really enjoied a lot. Very very big thanks should go to sindu. I think if he is not there I would not have visit their again. Really appreciate his hard work to make us stay over their fantastic.

From the dining area we could see and hear the sea. It was magical. The food was delicious and the staff did everything to make us comfortable and happy. We loved staying here!

It is very well maintained. You have a lot of privacy. It is very calm, the host & the whole staff is very lovely & helpful. The dinner and breakfast was always very delicous. They helped us with everything we needed. We had an amazing time & enjoyed the conversations with everyone there.
