We were beyond happy that we got to stay in Madiha Surf Lodge. This place was beautiful and with such a friendly owners & staff! Our room was so beautiful and clean. The brakfast/seating area was so cosy and beautiful and the accommodation was located only few steps from the most amazing beach with breathtaking sunset spot(short private road to the beach). We are vegan & they met our needs and prepared us tastiest breakfast (It was even better than food from restourants haha) So couldn't be more happy! Thank you so much and we will for sure return! It was hard to leave :)

We had a fantastic stay at Skyy Villa Polhena The location was perfect for snorkeling and surfing with beautiful beaches just steps away. The breakfast was delicious offering fresh and tasty options every morning. Our room and the entire property were **spotlessly clean** and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Matara whether you're an adventure seeker or just looking for a relaxing getaway! We’d love to come back

The garden is crazy beautiful and peaceful, I could work outside with the sound or the birds or just chill in the hammock. The kitchen amenities are very superior to anywhere I've stayed in Sri Lanka. Oven is something very rare to find but here they have a good one! Also toaster, stove, kettle, mixer and even coffee grinder... Also, there's a clothing washing machine and washing powder , so I could wash my clothes by myself. 1min walk from a little perfect beach for a quick swim or watch the sunset. Loved it! Everything was clean and the owner and worker are super nice and helpful!

I can really recommend this hotel! It’s super new and really high-quality – you can tell a lot of thought went into the details. The architecture is amazing, with high ceilings and a great design that makes the space feel so welcoming. The bed was incredibly comfortable, I slept like a baby. The location is perfect, everything you need is just a short distance away. I also loved how easy it was to communicate via WhatsApp – super smooth and quick. The host was so friendly and attentive, you really feel at home. And the sense of security was great, I felt safe and taken care of the whole time.

Really lovely new guesthouse, ran by a very helpful friendly family. Only a few minutes walk from nice resturants, bars and the ocean and the room was very clean. Really appreciated the strong air con and hot powerful shower! Comfy bed, modern facilities and set back from the road a little so it was nice and quiet at night.We could easily walk to the popular surf point nearby too. One of the nicest places I've stayed in sri lanka!

Extremely welcoming and helpful family. Lovely property with nice new fresh rooms. I was stuck with nowhere to stay due to a misunderstanding. They took me in late at night, I had no bags with me, they gave me PJ's which was honestly such a lovely lovely thing to do. The breakfast the next-day was gorgeous. Dhal, sambol, potato curry, hoppers, the lot!! 2 types of desert. Genuinely lovely people. AND THEIR DOG!!! omg, the cutest fluff Ball I've ever seen.

Excellent staff, delicious snacks and curry buffet, room was newly renovated and super clean. We spent nearly night there and really enjoyed this stay, were playing table tennis, location is in a quiet part of Madiha.

This loving family easily created the place I've stayed in my 1 year of traveling. If you're the type of traveler who appreciates major attention to detail, the warmest of welcomes (fresh glass of passion fruit juice from their garden !!), high-quality facilities, and mind-blowing dollar value, then you found your home away from home. Honestly, I wish I had a home back home as nice as this home.
