We had a great time at Pearldrop waves. The owner was very polite and was always available and happy to help us and accommodate us (whether we wanted a tuktuk or information about yala safari). Also we had dinner at the hotel that was great value for money.

There was nothing to dislike about this amazing hotel. Rooms were massive & clean. Lovely balcony. Pool was great with jacuzzi. Lots of seating areas. Mr & Mrs Diaz were fabulous hosts also all their staff were great. Breakfast was huge and well done, always with a lovely sweet treat at the end. Just across the road to the beach. We will definitely be back.

I had a fantastic stay at this guest house, which is perfectly located just 5 minutes from the local train station and only 10 minutes from the beautiful Weligama beach. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure all our needs were met, providing a welcoming and caring atmosphere throughout our stay. The kitchen is well-equipped, ideal for preparing meals, and the room was not only comfortable but also cozy and peaceful. The garden is a lovely retreat where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. What’s more, the guest house has a great community vibe, making it an ideal place to meet fellow travelers and share experiences. It was easy to connect with other digital nomads and adventurers. Perfect location, close to beach, supermarket, bus stop and restaurants but still quiet during the night. Room with AC was very nice and beautiful, even had a hair dryer. Lovely family with cute dog, great breakfast with many different options. There is the option to organise laundry and taxi.

The room, I had a small and cheap room (15 USD a night Feb 2025) The room was furnished with care, everything you needed was there. You can also use a common kitchen/ sitting area. The food. Is on request. I took a dinner and it was real tasty. Cleanliness, yes soo clean. The owners, if you need information or a taxi they arrange it for you.
