The owner Kalai is so lovely and helpful. The place is really clean and there is a kettle with free tea and water provided. It’s a really nice view from the property and just a short walk to a different viewpoints, one in particular about 1km from the property was great for sunrise! If you enjoy hiking, you can join sections of the pekoe trail from here and there is a nice restaurant a short walk away which has a good selection and is reasonably priced. Very relaxing! Beautiful house at remote location in the mountains. This is the perfect place for everyone who is looking for a quite place surrounded by nature. Munira is the nicest host and all the staff is amazing. We had breakfast and dinner at the house and it was always very delicious! Highly recommended!

We only intended to stay for a night, but ended up extending our visit because we loved it here! The accommodation is very simple but spotless, and well-maintained, with a convenient tea-making area. The hosts helped organize our visits to Lipton's Seat, the Pekoe Trail, Horton Plains, and local waterfalls. We managed to do all these activities despite the rainy weather, but it definitely makes us want to come back during a different season to see the views under a clear sky. The guesthouse is located right next to the railway but since trains do not run at night, our sleep was not disturbed at all. For anyone who loves quiet, uncrowded mountains, this place is absolute heaven—perfect for a multi-day stay to explore the region.
