The man running the hotel is very nice, the food is good (and a lot) and the hotel is in a very nice location. From the inside the hotel looks a bit older, but that's fair for the price you pay.

Rangala House is set in Digana and has a pool with a view and garden views. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

Rangala House is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. From when you walk through the door off the mountain road and are greeted by the owner and staff and see the breathtaking view from the balcony area, the high standard of accommodation and professionalism of the staff is very apparent. The interior is beautifully furnished, rooms very comfortable, the food is 5 star and the views and garden absolutely stunning. We also loved walking through the nearby tea plantations which the owner provides detail advice about. It was perfect and a credit to the vision of the owner.

Rajiva was an excelllent host and guid. We spent here magnificent three days. The surrounding tea plantations and mountains have amazing views. The area is very authentic without many tourists, but with friendly local people, beautiful nature and lot of wild birds. The accommodation is very comfortable, beds as well. The balcony view is the best, we loved good breakfast with this view. The owner arranged for us transport to the next destination. Once again, thanks a lot Rajiva.

Our stay at Bougainvillea Retreat was nothing short of perfect. The rooms were beautifully designed with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing spectacular views of the hills and Victoria Lake. This is one of the best places I visited recently and they got best family rooms I have ever come across. Staff is friendly and ready to satisfy any need without hesitation. I like the ambiance and my kinds loved the pool. I highly recommend this place and already in my list to revisit.

Villa Olde Ceylon is situated in a semi-urban area with the most beautiful natural surroundings.In this beautiful place I got three alternative rooms to make my choice and enjoy my independence.Although it is located in a semi-urban area I was able to witness a green and a calm surrounding. And the owner of this will is a very friendly person who can handle English, French and Italian languages.The delicious food that were prepared by them were typical Sri lankan and they had a unique recipe for that.It was a fine day.

I can't say enough kind things about this place. It's in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by trees, flowers, and greenery, perfect for rest and relaxation. Town is a short tuktuk ride away -- or, a fairly easy downhill walk. The house is spacious and clean. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to meet and spend time with Suraj the host, and the lovely cook Vishakha. They are both such gems: friendly, welcoming, bright, communicative, and just an absolute pleasure to be around. The food is excellent. Lovely all around!

Jaye was a nice and helpful host. I only stayed in Kandy for a short time but the homestay was great. Nice view overlooking the city but still walking distance to the center. Very clean and quiet. Would recommend!
