The man running the hotel is very nice, the food is good (and a lot) and the hotel is in a very nice location. From the inside the hotel looks a bit older, but that's fair for the price you pay.

Rangala House is set in Digana and has a pool with a view and garden views. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

AMAZING view, amazing food, great and sweet staff. Really nice pool. Great walks in the area. We also visited the tea factory which was very insightful. Some grey hornbills right outside our window ♥️ We felt very comfortable and at home and at ease at Rangala House. Highly recommend to stay! Don’t doubt, book!

Rajiva was an excelllent host and guid. We spent here magnificent three days. The surrounding tea plantations and mountains have amazing views. The area is very authentic without many tourists, but with friendly local people, beautiful nature and lot of wild birds. The accommodation is very comfortable, beds as well. The balcony view is the best, we loved good breakfast with this view. The owner arranged for us transport to the next destination. Once again, thanks a lot Rajiva.

This was an amazing stay and everything was just perfect - a beautifully decorated boutique hotel, cozy atmosphere, attentive staff and green surrounding. It's a bit distant from Candy, but all in all definitely worth staying.

Very spacious and comfy room at such a reasonable price! You can arrange Tuk Tuk transfer to reach this place. Ashan is really a friendly and helpful host. The best stay I've ever had. Memorable for life for sure! I was so stressed out by Kandy's hectic city vibes, that their beautiful hotel felt like an oasis (just as it looks and feels like on the photos). I had completely forgotten about dinner, and was surprised with scrambled eggs on toast (my favorite!). Chanaka & Moon are two beautiful people, who look after their guests wonderfully. Even though I would not like to visit Kandy city again, I would visit again only to stay at Villa Olde Ceylon for multiple days <3

The place is on a hill a short tuktuk away from the city. It’s a very serene location and a peaceful place to come back to after a busy day in the city. Rooms are very clean and offering a lovely terrace with panoramic views over Kandy. There is also tea available at all times in the shared kitchen. Karun is such a wonderful host and organised the perfect tour of Kandy. He made my experience as a solo traveler very enjoyable and took me to local places to eat and experience Kandy life as a true local. Karun’s endless kindness was so warming. He is so attentive and wants his guests to be happy. This has been my favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Estuti Karun for everything
