Everything was great, very clean large room with good furniture, hot water in the bathroom, everything is new and modern, thought out to the smallest detail, stylish and there are interesting design solutions. The staff and host are extremely friendly and helpful, they help if needed. In addition, I really liked the location - very close to the main street, but very quiet and peaceful. Around is nature and you can see birds and mongooses. In addition, the breakfast was great, you can also order dinner if you wish.

The hosts were amazing! Incredibly friendly, warm and helpful. In addition the place was beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and we also ended up eating dinner there twice which were the best meals we had in dambullah.

Place was clean with a comfortable bed and a hair dryer which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very accommodating, the host offered us a free tuk tuk ride to the bus stop on our way out. He also provided tips on the pricing of services (eg how much a guide in Polonnaruwa should cost). Breakfast was tasty and big. Very pleasant stay altogether, can honestly recommend it.

Lovely place to stay at. The location is great, right in the middle of the forest, and really peaceful. Temples are easily accessible, as well as some restaurants that are about 10min away by foot. Sri lankan breakfast is delicious, with fresh fruits. Water bottles were about 1300 rupees and kept fresh in a fridge.

We traveled from a Sri Lankan friend's house in the east and it felt like we never left the family hospitality. Rooms are private, clean and comfortable and the host is amazing, she offered to cook us dinner and made us an INCREDIBLE breakfast before we left. She loaned us sahris to cover up for the temple caves which is only a short walk from the homestay.

Great place to stay. Friendly owner, who takes care of all his guests, ensuring they enjoy the stay in his guest house and Sri Lanka. And helping to plan the visit for those who haven't yet specified their plans Place is close to the city centre but in quiet area with no traffic noise. Restaurant with delicious food available (best roti I have ever eat). Tuk tuk and taxi service available. I would recommend it for everyone who plans to visit Dambulla.
