I especially loved the warm, discreet service. and that most of the staff have been in Mr Bawa's service for many years prior to his passing. They have a palpable sense of love and respect for the late Mr Bawa, his legacy and property. Their reverence and devotion is the most heart warming to encounter and speak volumes for the man we came to pay homage to.

This was the first stop in our Sri Lankan trip and We weren’t quite ready to brave the hustle bustle of Colombo, Athma house was perfect for that. A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.

Beautiful design, very helpful employees with smile on their face all the time. Good location that is close to city and has silence. Amazing room. We had to chance to meet with the owner Mr. TG who designed the hotel and he helped us for nice locations to visit. I will definetely stat here when i come back to Colombo🤙

Everything from start to finish. Sampath is just an EXCEPTIONAL host! He welcomed us, offered tea/coffee/snacks, gave us plenty of tips and ideas about what to do in the area. Personally took us to some places. The Eco Lodge is kept extremely nice and clean. Very comfortable beds and all facilities. Also, Sampath's wife is an amazing cook. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and our wishes were totally taken into account. They also have a super cute dog and cat. Just... Book this place, it's amazing!

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Modern bedroom and bathroom room with large, bright, shared lounge area. Away from the busy city centre but plenty of shop and cafes within walking distance. Manager Benjamin was delightful. Very helpful with very good English.
