Sithari and her sons Dinush and Sahan were truly wonderful accommodating hosts. Room nice and spacious with lovely big balcony overlooking garden. Breakfast was delicious and super generous. Hosts always available to answer questions and offer advice.

Happy Man Village is the best place to enjoy the real Sri Lankan experience. In this family run structure is possible to enjoy amazing meals made of fresh products from their lands, simple cooked and delicious. The staff is going to propose several activities to do in the area, in this way there is no need to settle anything since everything will be managed from them simplyfing our life. We really enjoyed the catamaran safari and the boat trip in the river close to the village. But the best thing is the attention from the staff to the guests, always smiling and being available to any possible requests. A special mention needs to be done to the young Baba he was always available and ready to help, bringing us small treats like smoothies and cocount, at any time of the day and showing us nice landscapes spots, along with the cinnamon and wild plants and animals in the surroundings of the village. Located in the middle of Kosgoda village, here we found the most authentic feelings.

Absolutely amazing place. The owners were so lovely and really attentive - they even gave us complimentary drinks and fruits from the garden and called us when there were monkeys and birds around. Was in a beautiful setting at one with nature but still just a short walk to shops and restaurants. The room, bathroom and balconies couldn’t have been nicer. Best place we’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka :)

Our best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! Our room was in absolutely mint condition, superclean and tastfully furnished. The bathroom is fantastic! We enjoyed it very much! The host family is so nice and caring and all things are done with love and passion for every detail!

Great breakfast, coffee, eggs & fruit served any time to suit. Separate entrance & key to 1st floor room, which includes a fridge, ac, balcony & kettle. All clean & quiet. Soap only in shower. Hot water available . 5mins walk from lovely beach & local shop. Beer store 15mins, supermarket & bakery 20mins walk. Couple of restaurants nearby. Very nice hosts. Highly recommended.
