Such a wonderful stay very central and in walking distance to the night market, morning market, Phousi Hill, and the Mekong River. I really enjoyed my stay as a solo female traveller visiting Luang Prabang for the first time, the hotel was lovely and the service was really good. I felt at home staying in the Golden Sun Boutique Hotel and would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I thought that this was just another guesthouse but the design and the quality of the stay was excellent. Arrived earlier than expected and I already got the room ready for use. Room was spacious, clean and really aesthetically pleasing. The location was central and personally for me, quiet which was helpful for me to read and do my reflection. There was food around the area so you don’t have to fret. Breakfast was also provided and the team checks in with you every evening on what you like to have. Having transferred from another luxury hotel, the experience at Baan Pila is comparable and perhaps even more personalised. Free bike was super helpful for me to travel around (even cycling to the gym which was not too far away). I was amazed by the quality of the amenities (shampoo and handwash) that I bought the original brand when I returned to Vientiane. I would recommend anyone to consider staying with the team.

The hotel is manage directly by the owner, which makes everything more personal and personalized. Breakfast was good, room size was good and hotel is close to main touristic attractions. Owner gave several recommendations as well as helped me booking another property when he became sold out for the additional night requested (even negotiated a discount vs what was on the website)

The owners spoke very good English and they were able to help me with anything. Also they are really nice and made me and the other travellers feel like in a family. The breakfast omlette looked amazing. I don’t eat eggs bur I had bread butter and home-made gem that the owners made themselves. It was so interesting to try! The villa is very nice, clean, even social if you go for breakfast or stay on the terrace after dinner. They have good functioning mountain bikes that you can use to explore around. Also ask One (the owner) about a route for the bycicle, we did the one he recommended and it was so cool.

Great hotel with the best location, close to all the places that you need to visit. Upon our arrival, we received a wonderful welcome from the guy at the front desk (a Vietnamese guy sorry I couldn’t remember your name). He has every attention, listen carefully and found the best solution to our request.
